Karnataka Acceleration Network is a unique initiative by the Government of Karnataka, one of its kind in the country, designed to boost the acceleration ecosystem in the state.

JAIN Launchpad is the Mentor Accelerator and Implementing Partner for the program, bringing its ecosystem expertise and founder-focused approach to Beyond Bengaluru regions.

The six-month acceleration program offers growth-stage startups comprehensive support through modules, including cohort readiness, business strategy revisits, market validation, customer acquisition, and investment readiness. Additionally, startups will receive mentorship, access to infrastructure and market linkages.

The program culminates in a demo day where startups showcase their progress and innovation to investors.

Objectives

  • To create vital inter-linkages/ exchanges of information among all the relevant stakeholders.
  • To effectively translate R&D activities for commercial gain.
  • To provide technical and business advisory services through a cache of experts and mentors.
  • To facilitate industry, connect, and fundraising through VCs/Angels and promote globalisation of Indian Tech startups.
  • To provide the entire range of value-added IPR support services, such as sensitisation, protection, and compliance of generated IPs.
  • To boost the growth stage startups and help them scale up.
  • To provide a positive effect on the performance of the startups.
  • Assist in raising venture capital, support exit by acquisition, and help in gaining customer traction.
  • Providing mentorship support, market linkages, etc.

Selection Process

  • Application Screening: Evaluation of submitted forms and pitch decks
  • Shortlisting: Based on innovation, scalability, team strength, and market potential
  • Pitch Round: Live presentation to a panel of experts and ecosystem stakeholders
  • Final Selection: Top startups selected for cohort participation

Program Structure

  • The program will run over a defined period (e.g., 12–16 weeks) and include:
  • Mentorship Tracks: Domain-specific guidance from industry leaders
  • Workshops & Masterclasses: Business strategy, fundraising, product development
  • Investor Connects: Demo days and curated pitch sessions
  • Market Access: Corporate partnerships and pilot opportunities
  • Peer Learning: Cohort-based engagement and networking
