About CRCE?
The Chenraj Roychand Centre for Entrepreneurship (CRCE) at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) serves as a dynamic hub for innovation and entrepreneurial growth. Since its inception in 2001 and later being absorbed as a Centre within the University, CRCE has played a pivotal role in nurturing students, faculty, and incubated companies through a wide range of activities such as Ideation, Product Development, Hackathons, Proof of Concept, and Incubation. Its mission is to create a robust ecosystem within the University campuses where creativity, problem-solving, and startup success flourish.
CRCE is an integral part of JAIN Launchpad to build a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem in collaboration with government and industry stakeholders.

Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) and CRCE
CRCE operate in alignment with the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC), initiated by the Ministry of Education and AICTE. These activities are designed to:
- Foster innovation and entrepreneurship at the campus level
- Encourage ideation, problem-solving, and pre-incubation support
- Enhance students' cognitive and creative skills
- Support India's global innovation standing
CRCE
CRCE are active Entrepreneurship clubs in all Faculties/ Schools of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) and serve as engines for startup culture and inventive solutions. The core objectives include:
- Promote awareness on entrepreneurship & the startup ecosystem
- Support and showcase student/faculty innovations
- Recognize and reward outstanding innovations
- Create and support student-led startups
- Conduct events, workshops, seminars, and competitions
- Build networks with mentors, entrepreneurs, and investors
